Very happy to see more and more updates to the thread - many paid developers who render wartime ships for big gaming companies are nowhere near this skill.
I was recently paying attention to the cargo ships and escorts used in various flight simulators - often, they had weird length-to-width ratios, doors too small, life rings too big, deckhouses too tall/short for real humans, boxy parts, and tons of other problems. Even though "experts" were paid lots of money to design them. In all honesty they cannot hold a candle to the great ships made on subsim !
