Hydrophone Issue

Been playing U boat for a couple weeks now and suddenly my Hydrophone operator is not reporting any contacts . If i take manual control of the hydrophone and listen i can can here enemy ships yet he is not reporting them ? I dont understand why . Anyone have any ideas Why ? Running the latest update .
