For the other events that I like.... good luck finding coverage here.
Then you should take a look at Eurosport 1 and 2 Europe and see how many hours per day they are going to broadcast from Paris 2024 the next 14 days.

Even our own two Danish sport channel(TV2 Sport and TV2 Sport X) are going to show many hours per day.

Find an IP-tv provider who have a box with a build-in VPN you can rent or buy. Thereby you can access the entire worlds tv.

The IOC sold the rights of the Olympic games in 2015 to a Pay TV company in a £920m deal, it begs the question, what happened to the money? and where has athletics benefitted from the money?, this has the stench of corruption written all over it.

I don't know about your countries but, here in the UK there hasn't been any initiatives in Athletics that have been paid for by the IOC, so I will assume it was just another snout in the trough moment by the Olympic Committee.
Sport in general has loads of these shady bastards at the top of the tree, it's time they all went through a root and branch investigation and they were all cleared out.

Starting tomorrow my cable provider has set up two dedicated channels for the Olympics no additional charges. The TV advertising for the Olympics has looked particularly good this year. Boats on the River Seine, street side cafes, Simone Biles. I wish I was at least one tenth as physically fit as Simone.

Chaos at Olympic football match as VAR rules out Argentina goal two hours after game suspended

Quote:
A pitch invasion caused chaos at an Olympic football match between Argentina and Morocco - with a video review ruling out an equalising goal two hours after the game was suspended.

In what Argentina manager Javier Mascherano described as a "circus", his team were denied what looked like a 2-2 draw 16 minutes into added time after protesting Morocco fans forced the game to be suspended.

The decision ruling out the goal was delivered about two hours after play was halted when the teams re-emerged on to the pitch to finish the match in an empty stadium.

It meant Argentina eventually lost the match 2-1.

"It's a circus, I've never experienced anything like it in my entire sporting career," Mascherano said in comments reported by Argentinian newspaper La Nacion.

Immediately after Argentina player Cristian Medina looked to have made the score 2-2, bottles, cups and what appeared to be a flare were thrown on to the pitch.

Several fans in Morocco colours also ran on to the pitch, with some being escorted off the pitch by stewards.

Video boards informed fans to leave Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in the French city of Saint-Etienne.

It was initially believed the full-time whistle had been blown and even FIFA's website had declared the game over - but an hour later, organisers said the match was not officially finished.

Reuters news agency reports the venue manager said the game had been interrupted and a decision about whether the match would be completed was being discussed.

Meanwhile, an official reviewed the video of Medina's goal and informed players it had been overruled as one of Argentina's players was judged marginally offside in the lead-up to their equaliser.

The two sides played for about three minutes in an empty stadium before the final whistle officially blew.

Argentina had been two goals down before scoring in the 68th minute and believing they had tied the game deep into added time through Medina.

Following the controversy, Argentina star Lionel Messi - who is not in the squad for the Olympics - shared a black-background post on Instagram with the word "insolito" - unusual - alongside a shocked emoji.

Mascherano also claimed thieves had broken into the team's training ground and stole a watch and rings belonging to player Thiago Almada a day before the match.

^ Here a team are the loser in a match if one of its supporters interrupt the game somehow.

Should have been the same in the match between Argentina and Morocco
As it was a Moroccan supporters who threw things into the field.

There are around 600.000 tickets who haven't been sold yet.

I think the potential risk of that above Markus would be supporters of the losing team posing as the other teams supporters and causing the game to be abandoned.

Better still, the team of the offending supporters not being able to attend any future games.

I was going to say they need to be careful about who wins events as to not upset the really bad actors. Wouldn't want Notre Dame to spontaneously combust again. Instead, today Team Middle East enters the arena without provocation from any Olympic event whatsoever.

Just my gut reaction, really really hoping it's not a reaction to the left changing up the rules in order to stay in power
