What is the gray circle you see? Try with the OFEV app in the nav map and TAI options.

I have not played for a long time, but as I recall, it is in the game option menu.

Yes, thank you, those are circles that should indicate possible detection of the sub by ships or planes - I managed to get rid of that with the lOptionsFileEditorViewer
