Thank you for the reply friend! Unfortunately I followed your procedure and it did not work.

I have also attempted to disable all mods and enable only "NewNarwhal", which sadly also did not work. The Narwhal in game would still be missing her conning tower.

I wonder if the mod itself is problematic and missing certain files?

yes, there is a problem with the conning tower.
i had to fix that to be able to play the Narwhal.
unfortunately, i am out of town on an extended assignment and not at my home PC where the fix resides.
let me see if i can remote-in and get my fix.

well, my TMO config did not make the transfer from the tower to my laptop so i do not have it here AND i forgot to turn on my remote-server-app, so i cannot remote-in to my tower at home. #moron

and, no, it is not obvious. (lol)

tell you what: let me find a couple of hours either today or tomorrow (saturday) and i will build a TMO config, load the Narwhal mod and redo the fix. will that work for you?

ok...i loaded up TMO and it ran fine. i am shocked because i remember a problem that i had to mod around. here is my config.

the only feature that did not perform properly was External View. that problem was solved by assigning keys for external view (doh).

i do not have the other two mods you are using so i would suggest that you try the config i used above and then add each of the additional mods, one at a time, testing at each interval. your problem could be related to one of them.




p.s. i may be remembering my difficulty driving the Narwhal with RFB/RSRD which i played recently.

May I ask which version of SH4 are you working with friend? I've got the Steam SH4 with u-boat missions addon. Getting a disc isn't an option for me because I didn't incorporate a CD-ROM in my PC build.
