Next year inb autumn my rig will be 7 years old, that is the highest age a computer ever has reached in my servioce, 7 years. I will not buy a new one just becasue of the timestamp, but if then it breaks and I need to buy new, it would not be so much a pain as if it broke down after 3 years. And I need to buy a certain beefiness, due to my love for VR whicbh is my travel window to the world. But one day a new rig is on order, and then Starfield will still be there.

But for the time being, this really depressed me today, a bit. I really was in joyful expectation.

Maybe I check whether I can plug in a third drive, and whether steam splits and distributes the steam game folder on HD and SSD as demanded by Starfield.
Well, I hope it works out for you, Skybird. If you've got a slot, adding an SSD is pretty easy and straightforward. And the prices have come down since the early days. I hope that you can find a way to play Starfield.
