Governments have been flirting with Universal Basic Incomes/Guaranteed Minimum Incomes for an awhile now. Once Central Bank Digital Currency takes hold I would think everyone will be required to have a bank account which they can then govern your life with. Of course there will be some who refuse and create a black market to trade commodities like good capitalists. But I imagine big brother will work diligently to close them down and demand they conform. When exactly I don’t know, probably not in my lifetime.
