I giggle, although in an ideal world the choice of the judge would and should make no differenc eif the law really is the same for everybody. I just cannot escape imagining the face of Trump when they told him what judge he got again this time.

Well, Donnyboy, you endlessly lied, you conspired, your tried to overthrow the political order in your country, you tried to steal the election, and now you are being held responsible for your crimes. They give it many legal names and specific terms, but I prefer to use an old fashioned one: high treason. And my idea of a penalty for high treason also is old-fashioned and quite simple: having a walk to the gallow. Sigh. Sometimes the old times are to be missed.

And they dont do this to you because of the election 2024. They do it because you are not above the law, and the law you tried to betray is the same law that now finds you.

The desire to hold political office should be an automatic disqualifier for ever holding political office, if not grounds for permanent incarceration in a maximum security psychiatric facility.

When former President talked about the wall between Mexico and USA-The Dems and the left mocked him.

Now where Republican states is shipping immigrants to Democrat states-The Dems and the left can get enough time to build this wall ?

Is this correct understod ?

Watching one episode of the drama regarding the wall. What I got out of it was the main argument then Majority Leader Pelosi had is Trump had to get Congress to approve funding. Trump however just wanted to get’er done. IMO both had reasons to be at odds with each other and personally I favored Pelosi’s argument. I think the biggest problem was that Trump didn’t understand the give and take required for what he wanted done. That and I don’t think they liked each other very much. Federal money is allocated by legislation passed by Congress, not the will of one man.

However there was nothing then and there is nothing now which prevents congress from appropriating those funds to finish the wall either.

It’s just one all around big mess. Welcome to team D and team R politics, it’s an emotional state of mind short on facts.
