This Onealex Guide was given to me by Doolar follow the steps below and all will be fine

INSTALLATION OF ONEALEX
1. Download ONEALEX 1.53 and UnZip the SH3 Folder to your choice of location (not in
Program Files).
2. Open the SH3 folder and locate these 3 executables, the SH3.exe, Cmdr.exe (located
in the SH3 Commander’s English Folder) and the JSGME.exe. Change each executable ,
by right clicking and selecting their Properties, change to WIN7 compatibly / and run as ADMIN. (this is very important)
3. Start the game via the SH3.exe, (not SH3 Commander) to set a SAVE FOLDER. (if
you don’t already have a SAVE FOLDER from a previous installation, this will create
one).
4. Set game OPTIONS to GERMAN LANGUAGE (or you will have no voices).
5. Exit game.
6. Add Mods to MODS Folder then activate via JSGME. I recommend the following. (MY
OPINION ONLY)
A. No U-Mark
B. Units Without ponytails
C. Negative Buoyancy
D. New Water (Atlantic)
E. Ship Pk for OneAlex 1.35 (May 23) [REL] found at Merchant Fleet mod (Onealex mod

F. Late Sensors Comp (starting in 1943)
G. Late War Sensors Snorkel Antennas (when you get a snorkel)
H. U-Boat Skin of choice to match the boat you’ll be playing
7. Place Cmdr Shortcut for your convenience. R-click Cmdr.exe, select "PIN TO
TASKBAR" or PIN TO START . (Totally Un-Necessary, I do this for my convenience, to
start the game easier)
8. Place JSGME Shortcut for your convenience. R-click JSGME.exe, select "PIN TO
TASKBAR" or PIN TO START . (Totally Un-Necessary, I do this for my convenience, to
adjust the game add-in mods easier)
9. Set OPTIONS in SH3 Cmdr. to your liking.
10. Setup Career & Play, via SH3 Commander

Adjusting the S.Hie Option Selector

Alex has these settings set for, what works best for his Mod, so I myself don't mess with them.
1. Copy your SH3.exe from your SH3 game (installation) folder and place it in your SH3 game/ Support folder/Stiebler4c_v16B1 Folder.
2. Now, you can run the HsieOptionsSlector_v16B1.exe. You CAN NOT run the
HsieOptionsSlector without the SH3.exe temporarily located in the SH3 game/ Support
folder/Stiebler4c_v16B1 folder.
3. Make your changes and exit the HsieOptionsSlector and you'll get a message that
your SH3.exe has been "updated"
4. Now, when your back to the SH3 game/ Support folder/Stiebler4c_v16B1 Folder,
move your newly patched SH3.exe back to your SH3 game folder, like it was in step 1.

Please note
the first time you start SH3 via SH3 Commander, you'll see a dialog box to direct your SH3 and SH3 Commander to your newly created "Save Game Folder" Select that Install
