Restart did the trick, though I hope I'm not gonna have to do that every time I surface.

JSGME active list is very short - just the two mods mentioned.

that's excellent news.


do you alt-tab to windows while you are playing a mission? if so, that is probably the cause of the problem. SH4 does not like it when a player alt-tabs and then returns. all sort of bad things can happen. best to not do that.

I could have done. It's been a VERY long time since I played SH3 or 4. I've long forgotten their foibles, so I gotta learn them all over again.

Not sure if I'm gonna reinstall SH3 with GWX and SH3 commander, or use SH4 w/ operation monsoon. Fond memories of both. But for now, TMO and RSRD.
