Ok, you dont need to register if you don't want to pay the fee first of all. Second when you open Fraps, a window should open showing tabs labeled as General, FPS, Movies, and Screenshots. Click movies, and you should see a label "Video Capture Hotkey"
![]() select the key you will press when you want to start recording, this will be difficult since just about all the keys are used in the game, I presonally use the "/" key since i dont use the event camera. You are not recording until you hit that key, please note since this is the free version, you can only record for 30 seconds, which is usually plenty of time. Also note that these clips are huge in size, ranging in the 200-300 megabyte range. That last video ended up being only 80 megabytes, from the near 2 gigabytes i made it from. once you take your clip, its saved in the folder under "Folder to save movies in" After you are done making clips, then open up Windows movie maker, click "Import Video" From this part, you can also put in music, video, and effects like putting the text in the video ![]() Find the folder you saved your movie clips in, then you can view them, and place them in their appropriate place on the time line at the bottom of Windows Movie Maker. If you need more help just ask ![]() Last edited by Jager Kapitan; 07-27-06 at 02:06 PM. |
