I discovered this mod by chance because I've become obsessed with Beneith the Med, the solitaire sub game from the designer of The Hunters, The Hunted and Silent Victory. While I could always scratch those itches by playing SH 3,5 and 4 respectively, there's nothing that comes close to Beneath the Med. Who knew Italian submarines were so varied! And numerous! and carried out so many types of patrols!
Really really incredible stuff. I know you are probably waiting for the Dark Waters and FOTRSU teams to have time to pitch in, which I believe the Japanese mod may be too, but I just wanted to let you know you have an avid and passionate supporter in me. |

Hello folks:
first of all, thanks for your support and for the questions (here and by PMs) about the projet. At this point, I think that Rapidi ed Invisibili is disbanded (hopefully just temporarily). We have much of the source material and many surface units (and with VonDos now modelling Regia Marina's units for SH3, probably even more of them, but we need the permission obviously). However we lack of a prfossional modder who can model for us the submarines (actually not all of them as we wrote in the first page, cause the max subs number in SH4 is hardcoded); many of them are not active anymore and others are busy with other projects. So guys the only thing I can say now is the project is now in a sort of hibernation, but I'm confident that one day it will wake up again and will be finished. ![]() If there is someone here who want to help, you can contact me by PM.
