Brake was a resupply Ship. Not a U-Boot.
As it was just a message for immersion purposes?
You can just blow it off and ignore it.
I think anyway. I'll have to check other files to be certian.

Yeah I should lump the long way back to lorient..
Would have been pretty cool to take my brand spanking new IXC for a real adventure on its maiden voyage tho

But again. You don't need to follow up and HOPE to make the connection.

If you decide to go for a Meeting? Once docked with the Brake?
I think that's when you activate the Indian Ocean Campaign.

It's probably in the GWX 3 Manual but like others?

true that, Brake is nowhere to be seen on the map, but in the middle of the ocean a bit more to the east is "Charlotte Schliemann". I can make it there, but I have no clue what happens after contact there. probably just a mission to go back to Lorient

Oh? without the mod "Indian ocean campaign only"?

Players must enable the ―GWX Indian Ocean Campaign Files Only‖ option before starting a patrol from Penang, Jakarta, or any other Asian U-boat base if the player intends to end the patrol in Asian waters, as this option includes a workaround that allows players to win renown by patrolling their assigned Indian Ocean or Pacific Ocean patrol area. Players should disable this option just before starting a mission where they intend to travel to Europe.

went past cape town, the base was set at Penang. I`m docked at the ship now for refuelling. everything good

Just remember, that when you do eventually get ordered back to Europe, the Allies have really been sharpening their teeth while you were away.

On that return trip home... the closer you get, the more ready you should be.
