Need to resupply!

I know nothing about mods--how to choose them, how to install and run them, whether I have to abandon my current campaign to run them--but I would love a tweak that would let me replenish my torpedoes at sea!

It's mid October in 1942, and I'm in a Gato class sub (love having 6 bow tubes) north of Luzon, and I've been retasked to sink merchants in the Philippines. Earlier action netted about 27,000 tons, so I'm down to 3 fish in the bow and 7 aft. I'm not especially adept at positioning for stern shots, but I'll do my best.

How I wish I could rearm at sea so that I don't have to travel all the way back to Brisbane. When might US bases become available nearby?

Any suggestions?
