SH4 wont promote an LT

i don't think anything but a re-design will work.

i'll bet if i change my rank to LtCDR and have a successful next mission, i'll be promoted to CDR.

You didn't forget that "LevelUp= Base" to "Restricted" line, did you? My guess though, is that it is a hard-wired thang...

no, i didnt forget and yes, it made no difference at all.

and for the Kaleuns who were making book on whether the changes referenced above would promote an LT to LtCdr.....it did not work.

and....when i changed my rank to LtCdr and returned from the next successful career-mission, i was duly promoted to Cdr.

LT is not a valid rank for a player-captain if you expect to be promoted.
