Im not surprized, internet and video gaming (particularly MMO games) are creating alot of addicts. My ex gf for example is a MMORPG addict spending most of the day playing her prefered game.

Alot of mmo's are designed in my opinion to intentionaly cause this by making players spend inordinate amounts of time on these games to get anywhere, and "keep up" with the Jones's. A game like World of Warcraft for example can take 2-6+months of constant play (10+ hours a day 7 days a week) just to get one character fully outfited in "epic" equipment and at the level cap. They are gigantic mindless time sinks (which of course keeps everyone playing, and paying).

Alot of gamers out there are in serious need of professional help.
