Yes, I had saved then exited SH4 after sinking the merchant the first time (it was a Hansa freighter). The uncredited kill was in my next play session, the same class of ship.

you sink a ship, save the mission within 20-30 nm of the sinking and then x minutes later, the same ship reincarnates itself. if you sink it again, no credit. however, it can sink or damage you and it counts. this is especially hurtful if it was a convoy that you attacked. it's an Ubi bug. nothing can be done about it. try not to save within 20-30 nm of a kill, or if you need to save for strategic reasons, then avoid reincarnated kills. good luck! ![]()

Can for definitely, confirm what KaleunMarco said there... Ran into that, numerous times. I strongly recommend, leaving the area where you sink any ships (convoy or solo) by at least... a minimum of... 75 nm's. This will help alleviate that...
