She has served as a US representative, among other things for New York districts like the Bronx and Queens; not exactly for the faint hearted.

If she got involved in talking with Russia she may be better prepared for this than a lot of other (also foreign) ministers and politicians.

She's an idiot. If they actually brought her into the negotiations it would only encourage Putin to take over the entire European continent.
