What install ? I've always found it to easy to avoid their attacks; the rwrs and crew give notice long before the plane is a threat and allow plenty of time to dive.
In fact, I edited the rwrs so that planes weren't so boring, at least in terms of providing a surprise attack; they're still not much of a threat since they can't hit the broadside of a barn with their bombs or depth charges.
