Default LWAMI, JSGME inserting and removing.

Hello yall,

I was trying to play a game with some folks on game spy, silent sharks, and they told me once the LWAMI is installed it overwrites files and what not. As I was poking around with the archive I noticed it didn't touch any of the orignal files, and at most dropped a text file and the JSGME exe in the root of Sonalysists. I can't find any way it modifys the original files, are they just uninformed or am I?

JSGME is designed so as to install the mod without overwrting the original files, that are automatically backupped by the program.
If on the other hand you install directly the mod without the JSGME then of course it will overwrite the original files which are then lost (if you didn't do a manual backup before).
So in the end, the two of you are right and wrong. :rotfl:

If you install the JSGME version, YOU MUST ENABLE THE MOD SEPARATELY!!! using JSGME tool or the mod is NOT INSTALLED.

The way the JSGME tool works is that it creates backups of the files each time you enable any particular mod, and then overwrites the necessary files. When you disable the mod, the originals are restored and the backups deleted.

Cheers,
David
