Hi there,
Is there a chance to get a realistic Virginia Class Block III model in Cold Waters? One of the most important submarines to play a realistic scenario of the 21st century. Thank you for your work! |

im still improving the first batch of models ive got
then ill start on new ones but yes all 5 Virginia classes will be modeled but remember tho that some of the Virginia classes differences are internal so some blocks will use same models like Block (I) & (II) ect then block (III) use Virginia payload tubes (VPT) so x 12 tubes under x 2 hatches so 6 per module so 12 tubes in 2 groups of 6 1 block (III) has multi-material rotor pump jet then all block (IV) boats are the same & block (V) is the lengthen version with extra Virginia payload tubes (VPT),s for Ohio SSGN Replacement to keep SSGN,S Submarine USN fleet capability Steel Shark

Hatsuyuki-class Destroyer (JMSDF)
Pic.1) Hatsuyuki-class Destroyer (JMSDF) & for actual pic for comparison See Pic.2) JMSDF_DD-127_Isoyuki Information : Destroyers of the JMSDF had been divided into two series, anti-aircraft gun fire oriented destroyers (DDA) and ASW-oriented destroyers (DDK). However, in the 1970s, a drastic review of the fleet became necessary due to the enhancement of the Soviet submarine fleet and the reinforcement of the anti-ship missiles. After consideration by Operations research, eight ships / eight helicopters concept was adopted as a new fleet organization. In this concept, each flotillas would be composed of one helicopter destroyer (DDH), five general-purpose destroyers (DD), and two guided missile destroyers (DDG). this model represents my upgrade Quality aims as its got new models for launchers and ship radar & other components to further refine my other efforts even more on then on my other first generation efforts so now this is done i can add elements of this in to other models or use this and other parts to redesign my existing Gen 1 models to Gen 2 Quality as this model can easily be changed in to various other Nato Destroyer,s my first Gen 1 to Gen 2 upgrade model will be : Type 42 Destroyer (Sheffield Class) (1975-2013) Pic.3) Type 42 destroyer sheffield class as this is nearly the same but configured differently so this will be my first Gen 2 Upgrade Project. im away for a few days now as im helping a m8 with flooding damage as usual just leave a message in my Subsim Message box if any one need anything im only on my phone tho and reception is Rubbish so bear that in mind. P.s thank you for the support all those that have commented as all these models are very time and effort intensive on my part to refine then get to work with cold waters properly Steel Shark

these are not finished as they need textures finishing or making in some cases also the they both need prop shafts / props & rudders but you get the idear for quality im aiming for :
The Oliver Hazard Perry class is a class of guided-missile frigates named after the U.S. Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, the hero of the naval Battle of Lake Erie. Also known as the Perry or FFG-7 (commonly "fig seven") class, the warships were designed in the United States in the mid-1970s as general-purpose escort vessels inexpensive enough to be bought in large numbers to replace World War II-era destroyers and complement 1960s-era Knox-class frigates. In Admiral Elmo Zumwalt's "high low fleet plan", the FFG-7s were the low capability ships with the Spruance-class destroyers serving as the high capability ships. Intended to protect amphibious landing forces, supply and replenishment groups, and merchant convoys from aircraft and submarines, they were also later part of battleship-centred surface action groups and aircraft carrier battle groups/strike groups. Fifty-five ships were built in the United States: 51 for the United States Navy and four for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). In addition, eight were built in Taiwan, six in Spain, and two in Australia for their navies. Former U.S. Navy warships of this class have been sold or donated to the navies of Bahrain, Egypt, Poland, Pakistan, Taiwan, and Turkey. The first of the 51 U.S. Navy built Oliver Hazard Perry frigates entered into service in 1977, and the last remaining in active service, USS Simpson, was decommissioned on 29 September 2015.[2] The retired vessels were either mothballed or transferred to other navies for continued service. Some of the U.S. Navy's frigates, such as USS Duncan (14.6 years in service) had fairly short careers, while a few lasted as long as 30+ years in active U.S. service, with some lasting even longer after being sold or donated to other navies. The Arleigh Burke class of guided missile destroyers (DDGs) is a United States Navy class of destroyer built around the Aegis Combat System and the SPY-1D multifunction passive electronically scanned array radar. The class is named for Admiral Arleigh Burke, an American destroyer officer in World War II, and later Chief of Naval Operations. The lead ship, USS Arleigh Burke, was commissioned during Admiral Burke's lifetime. These warships were designed as multimission destroyers, able to fulfill the strategic land strike role with Tomahawk missiles; antiaircraft warfare (AAW) role with powerful Aegis radar and surface-to-air missiles; antisubmarine warfare (ASW) with towed sonar array, anti-submarine rockets, and ASW helicopter; and antisurface warfare (ASuW) with Harpoon missile launcher. With upgrades to their AN/SPY-1 phased radar systems and their associated missile payloads as part of the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System, the ships of this class have also begun to demonstrate some promise as mobile antiballistic missile and anti-satellite weaponry platforms, operating on 15 ships as of March 2009. Some versions of the class no longer have the towed sonar, or Harpoon missile launcher. Their hull and superstructure were designed to have a reduced radar cross-section. The first ship of the class was commissioned on 4 July 1991. With the decommissioning of the last Spruance-class destroyer, USS Cushing, on 21 September 2005, the Arleigh Burke-class ships became the U.S. Navy's only active destroyers, until the Zumwalt class became active in 2016. The Arleigh Burke class has the longest production run for any post-World War II U.S. Navy surface combatant. Besides the 62 vessels of this class (comprising 21 of Flight I, 7 of Flight II and 34 of Flight IIA) in service by 2016, up to a further 42 (of Flight III) have been envisioned. With an overall length of 505 to 509.5 feet (153.9 to 155.3 m), displacement ranging from 8,230 to 9,700 tons, and weaponry including over 90 missiles, the Arleigh Burke class are larger and more heavily armed than most previous ships classified as guided missile cruisers. That’s understandable, if there is one thing you get out I really hope you can finally be the one to give us an ACTUAL Astute class submarine model 🙏🏼
I saw a post on Reddit earlier where I believe I saw the model you’d been working on and it looked great, All the best |

yer that one someone sent me but would need a lot of reworking as it was very low quality
with no masts also would need damage partitions making the model re-scaling model shape readjusting as it was wrong in certain areas / re texturing various times new dive planes making new rudder making torpedo tubes redefining ect even a new propeller and shroud so would be less effort for me to just make one from scratch that takes time tho that's the trouble with free stuff its not all ways good like i said we see not be any time soon tho like i said Steel Shark
