Haha so much for avoiding jetpack spoilers
 Appreciate the comments and advice. I'm sticking with no mods for now, but that may change. I'm enjoying vanilla and maybe modding's for a second run. Level 25 now, I'm probably going lone wanderer as the companions aren't working for me. Just me and the dog in the wastes.
