Default Omg!!!! Wow

its 1940 21st dec, i had my patrol grid of cf?? encountered a large convoy and took out a small tanker and c2 cargo the rest were small merchants (not worth the hassle to say they had like 4 DD escorts) decided to go to scapa flow ond omg im glad i did, the illustrious was there, 3 aux crusiers, revenge class was there 2 king george battleships were there??? which i dont quite get , i had at least 30 contacts most stationary but the weather was soooo poor even if i got within 2000 it still wouldnt keep a lock on a target, i couldnt see nack all i manged to get myself in a position so i could take out one king george by hitting the fuel bunkers i broke her back with only one eel:rotfl: which i didnt think was even possible, i HAD planned then to take out the illustrious by swinging starboard and then starboard again to take out the revenge class and again starboard to take out the other king george (didnt know there was more than one king george ) then make a run for it south ish and take out 2 of the aux cruisers on the way to deeper water, only as soon as i wiped out my first EVER major flag ship i stired up a right hornets nest i had 9 hunt destroyers taking turns to dc me i had absolutley no chance i was running silent one knot and as deep as i could go i had 1m to spare under keel lol, any way needless to say i died within minutes of my first kill, luckily i used common sense and saved just before i got myself lined up with the first king george, after all this isnt a situation ill find myself in everyday hehehehe, hope you enjoyed my small tale lol i will be trying again

Should have parked under one of those AUX before making your attack , Ive set under for a parked ship for hours the DDs give up most of the time.

It might be you could park on the shallow side of the closest one to the beach.Ive even parked at the docks , Ive also run the beach ,the Observation scope is your friend. The AI alot of time will beach its self or get hung up tring to get to you.
