Thank you for bringing this up ... the Samoa in question is not American Samoa, but is Western Samoa which gained it's independence from Germany back in the 1990's.
The man that refuses to step down has been the PM for 22 years the 2nd longest of any other PM in history. Yes I feel sorry for her, but she has been sworn in, just denied the right to take hold of the present day government.
