SHO Ship Identified SC-497 Class Subchaser

This ship here
DE_BH1 = Big Hunter or BigHumter01=Coastal Corvette

Is identified as US made SC-497 Class Subchaser. It not the best quality model in the world many details are missing but I am quite confirmed this is the ship.

Here are the real ships:

SC-497

SC-498

SC-661 / BO-303

SC-1047 / BO-208

Huge number of these were made and lend-lease to other countries,435 served in US,8 served in Brasil, 50 served under Free French and France,136 Served in Russian and they do call them "Big Hunter" for some unknown reason obviously they are not very big.

Looks like various motorized barges used on European rivers; I will try to look for names but I have seen the type before.

I don't think it's modeled after a specific ship - rather a general "motorized barge" concept, meant to represent ships like these:

I think it would be rather difficult to 100% identify small ships like those but sometime you never know.

Another ship I have trouble identify is this guy here.

NACG , NACG_early NACG_late = Cargo Steamer

It's strange. Bow shape, hull proportions and cargo hatches shape and arrangement look very similar to Great Lakes freighters:

but superstructure looks like a common tramp steamer.

It is too long for a lake freighter and too shallow for a sea going freighter wander if such ship really do exist.

These things could be pretty long:

But as for the ship in question, I too couldn't find any real ship that would match it.

Perhaps this:

From here.

Despite the flush-bulled appearance created by trunking over the wells between islands, the ship illustrated has a raised forecastle and poop (or "raised 1-3") and should be so reported. The ship is an old split superstructure MKFKM freighter.
Maybe?

You have to remember some Units were very early Mods.
So some ships are totally imaginary just to get more units in Game.
Not saying this thread is wrong or worthless.

I'd expect the Cyclops in GWX is on this hit list at some point.
Knowing full well it is not up to your standards.

Looks close but clearly not the same ship.If we know the builder of this ship then we might be able to trace other similar designs.

142 subchasers of the SC-497 type under Lend-Lease received the Soviet VMF. 50 - by the French, 8 - by the Brazilians. Mexico and Norway received three each. In Norway, all three SCs survived: the hunter "Hitra" (ex-SC-718) is now on display at the Royal Naval Museum, and the remains of the hunters "Hessa" (ex-SC-683) and "Vigra" (ex-SC-1061) can be found off the coast of Sweden.

Sea Hunter "Hitra" in June 2003
