The irony of it is that in many places you have mandatory mask wearing due to covid...

Brings to the fore the realisation that just over a year ago you weren't allowed into a high street bank wearing a mask and now you aren't allowed in unless you are wearing one

Wonder what would happen if you went in to a bank wearing a covid-19 mask with "I rob banks" printed on it!! Could be interesting, I suppose printing "this is a stickup" would be pushing it a bit!

Lol, yeah, that kinda negates the whole thing, doesn't it?

Indeed! One reason I retired in May after 17 years of guarding ATM techs while servicing their machines in bad locations of the northern CA & Bay area: Everyone's wearing a mask!?? vs 45 rounds on my belt and pistol; age 69; and too damn slow...and I can't distinguish the bad guys from Covid mask wearers around an open machine with upwards of $50,000+ in 100's ,50's, &20's and occasionally evenstamps ! In legal terms: an "attractive nuisance" by any standard??...especially these daze!!

Hah, yeah, I imagine this masking is putting a lot of stress on banks and armored car guards.

Saw some door video footage of a guy going house to house, getting into people's cars and taking stuff; no mask! With covid masks the norm everywhere, has to be the dumbest guy in the world
