LSH3 2020 crashes at random (?)

Hi everyone,

for the second time LSH crashed at random:

I using a fresh steam installation with LSH3 2020. The mod installation was done by the numbers. Also integrated Thomsens Soundpack via JSGME. Game works flawlessly in campaign mode, but while working on my first convoy, I did an emergency dive and clicked on the damage control setting in the crew management.

The game shuts down (kinda like pressing alt+f4), no error message, just my win10 desktop....

as I said, this is the second time. Frist time was basically the same: clicked something in game (don't remember what though), game just shuts down.

Is this a known issue? Any ideas how to troubleshoot this?

I'm not familiar with LSH3, but I assume you're referring to one of the default crew configuration buttons in the F7 damage/crew management screen, usually seen towards the bottom. According to the GWX manual this is an issue that goes back to stock SH3 that commonly causes crashes, and I've had that many times myself in the past.

In any case for future reference, be sure never to use those crew configuration buttons and only move all crew members around manually. Hope that helps some.

Hello friends

Supermod "LSH3-Edition-2020" only works with the included LSH3 add-on mods.

"External" mods - from GWX/WAC/CCOM - are NOT compatible with LSH3-V2020.

If "external" mods are added, the game will become unstable and may crash!

We are working on "Edition-2021" to integrate more mods.

Stiebler's patch can be used with any install without affecting stability. However to use it one also has to use H.sie's patch; it can not be used by itself.
Regardless they are both must have patches imo.

John is right, no problems with Hsie+Stiebler patch & LSH3 2020!
I have my exe patched Hsie+Stiebler+Tycho full map+draggable chrono and didn’t experienced any CTD.
LSH3 is one of the most stable platform, if not the more stable!
