Peter Thomas "did" the soundtrack for "Chariots of the Gods" too. Beautiful soaring music.

Perry Rhodan books are quite the phenomenon. Started by a team of writers in the 60s and still being regularly published today !!!!!.

I think they're over 3000 books to date and still going. I "discovered" them in the late 70s and read some out of sequence, and am currently ploughing through the online English translations - up to 92 and still going and loving them.

They're big in Europe ( non Brexit

) but massive in Germany, with a lot of diehard fans in a few other countries.

The movie "Mission Stardust" 1967 ? was panned by critics but it wasn't bad for the time and Thora was very nicely cast

.

Nice music too, Italian composers always do very well.

First and foremost. Everyone has been posting some great music. There has been some really great music posted and things you never hear. Well done, guys.

It was revealed in another thread that NFL Coach Marty Shottenheimer passed away from Alzheimer's disease. It was also sadly revealed last week that crooner Tony Bennett has also been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. This is sad new indeed and I wish Tony and his family all the best.

A great standby from Tony Bennett. I left my heart in San Francisco.

We recently lost Mary Wilson and It made me think of other performers who set the standards for smooth vocals and meaningful songs. This always comes to mind and one of my favorites.
