70-80, plus those from before his last day in office. You need to substract those pardons for himself and his family, his lawyers talked him out of these since that would have equalled a confession of guilt.

You know this famous quote by Henry Louis Mencken, maybe:
"Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit upon his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats." - über Ezra Pound. Prejudices, First Series. New York 1919. Chapter 6: "The New Poetry Movement", p. 90. But he said something even better. It could have been the program of Trump: "All the odds are on the man who is, intrinsically, the most devious and mediocre — the man who can most adeptly disperse the notion that his mind is a virtual vacuum. The Presidency tends, year by year, to go to such men. As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron." - Bayard vs. Lionheart https://www.newspapers.com/clip/2183..._jul_1920_the/ in The Evening Sun (Baltimore, Maryland), 1920-07-26

It's live right now on CNN if you wish to watch Trump's departure,
but a long farewell speech will probably be included. Marine One is on the lawn now ![]() I remember when Clinton left office it was a real tear jerker for him at the air base hanger he left from and then someone stole all of the POTUS dinner ware from Airforce One after it landed. Never did catch who, but it was returned. Good-by Trump thanks for the memories and now I know what mental illness is like, but I have to treat myself first lol. ![]() Here's the next exciting step in politics after Biden is through using the US Senate to obtain all of his dreams and plans. Balance can return in just two more years ![]() https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...C2r?oci_d=iehp Senate races to watch in 2022 Quote:

Well it didn't take long. One thing that Democrat politicians and their media enablers are good at is virtue signaling. Biden's plan to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline is a perfect example of this kind of meaningless gesture meant to appease climate fanatics on the Left.
97 percent of Canada's proven reserves are located in the oil sands, and the oil sands account for more than 60 percent of the country’s current oil production. Canada is the third-largest exporter of crude oil in the world, and 98 percent of that goes to the United States, accounting for almost half of the USA's imports of crude oil. Biden's decision is estimated to cost upwards of 11,000 jobs, 8,000 of which are union, and an estimated $1.6 billion in gross wages. This oil will continue to flow south regardless of the means. Much of it will continue to go by rail, a far less environmentally friendly method of moving the product. And the thing to note is this oil is not coming from Venezuela or the Middle East. It is coming from the America's closest ally. So Joe is off to a good start.

Now you will witness what dementia looks like and how it takes it toll on the elderly. There are not many memories.

Came downstairs 30 minutes ago and my mother was almost keeled over laughing as YMCA blared over the PA system at Andrews AFB.
What a strange, strange journey this has been. ![]() |

So care for environment is "socialist" in your opinion? I do not agree. This has all to do with reality and science, and nothing with petty politics not able to see ten years into the future. Canada's carbon tax system is a joke. The impact those tar sands make alone, cannot be compared with any transport of the crude or refined products, be it rail or pipeline. Frankly, were it not for jobs connected i would not shed one tear if this tar sand project would be terminated. Any recovery of this area would already now cost around 250 billion dollars. Of course no one will care of recultivation when the money has been made. The world knows what kind of environmental impact those tar sands have. I know there are a lot of jobs connected, but i guess we all agree this cannot go on in the way it did: https://www.nationalgeographic.com/e...ple-fight-back https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...tailings-ponds Since Biden intends to move forward and develop other energy techniques it would not make much sense to further destroy huge areas anywhere, besides the US does not really need the oil anymore, and CAPP knows that.

Yes he is, next gun control: to stop all the crime. And pardon 12 million illegal aliens and get them registered to vote Democrat. Bonus: abolish/hamstring ICE and let South America know the border is open. Free healthcare! Trillions of $$, where will it come from? Start regulating and taxing business like the USSR again, that will keep the economy going. Join the Paris green accords, we will hand China a win if its the last thing we do! Get started on that Green New Deal thing, and shut down the oil industry. Hurry, the ice in my tea is melting! ![]() Do something about the laggard vaccine distribution. Forgive student debt. Billions of $$, where will it come from? And half of the country can now start acting human again, it's the other half's turn to become deranged. Although this time, they will be publicized as "deranged", sorry about that. ![]() On top of all that, I had a dream last night that my office chair wouldn't roll and the little wheels were flat. What's that all about? |

The Keystone pipeline already extends to the U.S. Gulf Coast and I'm fairly certain the need for oil in the U.S. isn't the main reason the pipeline was constructed. Yes we benefit from it, but its primarily because we have the long term storage, distribution and refinery facilities to make use of the oil that comes from Canada. I've said it said before I think the Keystone XL phase is more of a convenience than a necessity. As we now see its primary usefulness is for political party grandstanding and cheap talk. If it were built it would be like Nordstream2. Does anyone really need another pipeline when there already is one? But politics get involved, Germans even with their socialist policies and holier than thou green save the planet rhetoric wanted control of energy. Environmental impacts of constructing a another pipeline be damned. Last edited by Rockstar; 01-20-21 at 10:45 AM. |

Healthcare. As get older I do see the system needs an overhaul. Specifically for the elderly. Paris Accord is a waste of time and money. Green New Deal will sit for 4 years Joe was blowing smoke. Big oil will not simply fold like a pup tent. Student loans. Another empty talking point for a vote. Bidens idea of rescuing America is the same talking points Trump had. Yet, he bashed Trump for months on the exact same plan. The normal again and deranged are always tipping the scale every 4-6 years depending on what the voting cycle of federal and local governments. Other than that, I'm sure we are going to see one very confused President. The confusion not of his own doing but from age. Biden is exhibiting issues. His wife is propping him up.
