The most common suggestion is to install The Wolves of Steel mod. From what I've read and been told it's a few mods packed together configured and created to add missing features and fix bugs. If you're in a hurry to get it going that's what I suggest you do. If you can be patient I suggest waiting for another answer and hope a veteran player provides some info and suggestions.

Thanks i'llgive it a go because it is rubbish at the moment. Lots of things could do before, not possible now.
