Moira began a sugar-free diet two weeks ago and I joined her on it 2 days ago. You have to gradually wean yourself off it (using 'stevia' instead to sweeten tea etc) until you just don't want the stuff anymore. I can't imagine a time when I won't want to stuff my face with chocolate, but I'm going to give it a damn good go (I maybe picked the wrong time of year, I know). It's about recalibrating your body so that it doesn't want the sweet things like it did

This salt thing I just know she is going to be interested in... it makes such perfect sense; on this diet if I fancy something sweet then I eat a salty cracker and the craving's gone
