This passed my way a couple weeks ago from the people I work with. I applied and got the $1K grant, that doesn't have to be paid back, in about 4 days.
When you get the grant you are also offered a business loan which all you have to do is deny.
I've heard talk that the fund was running out of money as the news spreads and more people are applying. I just checked and the application site is still up.

Hey! $1,000 isn't the only reason to visit. You can legally shoot machine guns here. And there's lots of cool stuff ... like the Grand Canyon and Jessica Alba.

On second thought - right now is probably not the best time to visit. At least not the major cities.

Note: It says on the first page of the application that estimated time to complete is 2 hour 10 minutes. That is incorrect. The application is 3 pages long and should take less then 15 minutes. The only thing I had to dig up was my 2019 tax return.
