Thank you, I believe this is what made it work.

The installation instructions that get installed as part of the modpack say to replace the sh5.exe with the DVD version, but the installation instructions at the top of this thread do not say this:

The thread .pdf should be updated.

This happened to me as well... dvd fix corrected the problem
