![]() It was on the P-39N "Airacobra" fighter with board number 100 that Alexander Pokryshkin flew and from the spring of 1943 shot down 48 enemy aircraft, bringing his personal victories to 59 aircraft. Fuel tank also available in the library. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell_P-39_Airacobra Operated by the US Air Force, VVS USSR, Royal Air Force. You need to release at least two versions for different Markings GWX or stock SH3

I will be converting the model to a USA & Russian versions soon.
The RAF version carrier a 250kg bomb under each wing, and a depth charge under the belly. The depth charge I will probably add at a later date. I think this aircraft is deadly enough with 6 AAGuns and 1 HE-Cannon plus the 2 bombs as shown. Rick |

I could not get information about the underwing bomb racks. Armament: There are no bombs, one 37 mm M4 cannon with ammunition of 15 rounds, two 12.7 mm M2 machine guns (300 rounds each) and two 7.62 mm MG40 machine guns (500 rounds per barrel). I suggest placing a 1x 250 kg bomb or 1 depthcharge bomb or an outboard fuel tank under the fuselage.

P-39Q Airacobra is different from P-63 Kingcobra
![]() A standard bomb holder is mounted on an axial line under the fuselage. It is possible to suspend bombs of caliber up to 500 pounds or an additional fuel tank. ![]() Due to the small capacity of the internal fuel tanks, an additional fuel tank, often with a capacity of 75 gallons, was often hung under the Cobra fuselages. The tank was mounted on a standard bomb holder.

Currently having a problem! When I load the aircraft into the museum it'll fly for a while then suddenly crash into the sea and I'm not sure why!?
EDIT: now fixed!! Rick Last edited by RickSarg; 07-11-20 at 12:31 PM. |
