It has been rumored since long that the battle of Britain was about more than just freedom and England, but - nuts...? Really?

Imagine the headline. >Luftwaffe ace Herrmann Herrlich shot down over England by an angry Eichhörnchen. < "Put your hands off my nuts!", the triumphant rodent is quoted to have said after landing.

Good one, Vienna. Absolutely love the spitfire but if figures are accurate, the Brit Hawker Hurricane shot down more " Nutzis. " There were Americans flying some of those Spitfires, just itching to get into the fight.
