Someone over at ArmchairGeneral forums did mention something
about a WW1 U-Boat game being done. This must be it.... JIM

Somehow I'm not conviced Some of the textrures and the interface doesn't really look up to date. The time period on the other hand is interresting. I wonder does it use SHIII engine or is it a new one ?

here's an typically awfull babel fish translation of the scecond part of the info--but it's still interesting---especailly the info regarding the aircraft zeppellins etc--and the "interior life" hint--which was what i was wondering about as they havent shown the sub interior as yet--but it sounds like and looks like from the deck gun crew screenie etc that they may follow SH3's lead and have some sort of 3D modelling for the interior and crew---

not sure about the bowls of anger thing ...can't be right i hope they finish it---cos if it has anything even remotely like a free roaming dynamic campaign-- even if it is limited to the areas it mentions- as long as it is not concretely mission based with the "take me to the action/patrol zone" method --i'm hooked allready--hope it's moddable--the graphics are fine ...plenty of atmosphere--and you don't need the latest gimmicks to create decent atmosphere--it's the gameplay that makes the thing worth playing--or not as the case may be--

agree with the graphics point too--we would have killed for graphics like that in SH2..they look plenty good enough for me--
