Your stuff is screwed up!

Opens a window on where to save to.

Pop-up blockers will block the download pop-up, and sometimes, you might also see an advertisement pop-up along with the Save dialog, and a blocker will take them both out...

Turned off Ad Blocker. Didn't help.

I can enter:

http://www.dcoffey.co.uk/images/

and get a screen with a list of folders, allowing:

silenthunter4/silhouettes/

and get a screen with a list of folders, including:

SilhouettesMerchant01.7z

Clicking on this does nothing.

Hope this stuff will end up in mod. If not, will have to ask someone to email it to me.

Don't really understand why it seems you are having all that difficulty in being able to download the zipped file.

With downloading you're NOT having any of the same issues I take it, with mods from here or any other sources for downloads.??

First time ever had trouble with download. Dopey me. I was expecting a pop out window prompting the download. Not here. It just downloaded it without telling me. Found it by accident, just now, when I went to my download folder looking for a download I just made for Skyrim. What did I find? SilhouettesMerchant01(1).7z through SilhouettesMerchant01(34).7z. Looks like it worked ever time, but did not notify me of anything.

Thanks.

Sounds like that you need to go in & set downloads up to ask where you want to download to, so that way.. you don't end up with that happening again.

Easiest way to do so is through the settings menu for the browser your using.

That is what I'd strongly suggest here for you, as it is what I have set up with each & every browser I've used.. and I've used about all the major 1's that is known of. IE, Chrome, Firefox/Waterfox, just to name a few of them.

As it stands right now, I only have 2 on My computer... the dumpster fire known of as Edge (only still there, just to avoid any possibilities of Micro-shaft, aka Microsoft... pushing it back on in their updates present or near future... ) & Opera (supplied with ad blocking & a VPN option which I rather enjoy and have pretty much made this My primary browser... ). I'd strongly recommend Opera. Short of using TOR browser.

Hope this info helps on avoiding issues like this again, bud.

Default Downloads seem to work fine for me

I am a bit curious about the names that I'm seeing though... Is there a ready reference for translating between these names and what one sees in The in-game Museum?

There is some cross-referencing involved. The sil files DanielCoffey has made, go into like-named "Data / Sea / ShipName" folders, just drop the "_sil" from the main name. In that same Sea / ShipName folder is the cfg file that you then edit to what DanielCoffey has measured in the S3D app and put into tables in the Open Document format. The Sea / ShipName cfg file has a similarly named cfg file in the "Roster / Country / Sea" folder, both should have matching ClassName entries. The "Data / Roster / Names.cfg" file holds the names of what you see in the RecMan. Below the listing of the asset types, you will see a series of "ShipName = RecManName" entries. It is not complex, but due to the size of things in FotRSU, it can make an old man go cross-eyed rather quickly...
