Last time I've made a playable whale it was always trying to get his nose down and go straight for the bottom)

Same here. The trick is to order a depth and course and your crew will fight the whale on what it wants to do. Also, don't order all stop, it crashes the game.

Judging by log, WhaleAI kicks in when whale model is used... That is a bit strange desision to make it like that... but I guess it was more convinient for the devs)

so you make a submarine to simulate a whale some times hiding in plane sight is the best idea kinda reminds me of stingray with those Mechanical Fish Subs

What if the whale also had miniature whales that it could use to sink the ships? Also, what if its blowhole could launch missiles?

This is a very funny mod. Just flinging out more ridiculous ideas.
