Default Why is my crew not feeling fatigue anymore?

I recently loaded a bunch of mods, continued my campaign and now the crew aren't feeling fatigue anymore. I personally enjoy the challenge of this. I know that SH Commander has a workaround for this but I'd rather not use it. Does someone have the original script for fatigue or have any idea what's wrong?

Thanks!

Hard to say but the first place I'd look is "I recently loaded a bunch of mods". Post your list if desired.

Thanks for your help John.

I'm new to modding for this sim. I had previosly tried out the megamod Living Silent Hunter 2015. I liked some features but not others so I removed all of that.

I uninstalled SH from C/Silent Hunter and reinstalled at the default location:

C/program files 86/ubisoft/SH

I upgraded to 4gb patch.

Is there an issue with 4gb patch installed at default location?

Installed JSGME.

I'm using the following mods:

TKSS German U boats compilation.

Thomsen's sound pack V3.2cg

ManosenvironmentPro v6

Waterstream+exhaust combi-single exhaust for type II

Waterstream for U Boats v4

2 skins for IID and IXC

I would imagine the crew files have been altered in: Data/cfg

There are several files for all the different U boat types, but when I click on them it says 'unable to find software for the selected file' and I cant open it.

Cheers!

For starters, never install the game at it's default choice. Do as you did before with your LSH install.
The default location can cause problems, whether with the 4gb patch, I do not know.

I know most of those mods wouldn't affect fatigue, but to be sure, look in their files and if they have either a Basic.cfg or crew config.cfg in them, they could as both of these files have fatigue parts in them.

Is it possible he loaded the Pervitin no fatigue mod by mistake?

Thanks John.

As I said, I tried opening the files but got the message 'unable to find software for the selected file' and I cant open it.
Any ideas?

I've tried starting a new campaign and the same problem. I also think the weather seems suspiciously nice. This may have been affected too.

Also, when I did the original uninstall, I did it from the uninstall option on the DVD. Could there be files left over elsewhere? I know about the SH3 file in My Documents which I removed.

- Have you tried opening the mod files by themselves, outside of the game, or are you talking about trying to access them in the game ? If the latter, try the former.

- weather is controlled by the envsim.act file in your mail game directory. You can check dates on it to see if it's been changed/the version you want.

- Not that I know of; you did the My documents. Just check the install folder if you haven't already and it never hurts to run a registry cleanup. CCLeaner is a good one.

That is strange. Maybe a corrupted download.

OK I've reinstalled game at recommended location:

C:SHIII

Installed 4gb patch.

So far so good. Fatigue is back.

I'll next try mods.

One thought, did I read somewhere NOT to apply mods while in campaign? Do I have to be in port?

Great ! Any other problems, fire away. Do each mod one at a time, test game, etc. That will let you know if/which mod is the culprit.

Thanks again for your help John.

Next mod I want to try is Manos environments. This is confusing as there are several choices in the folder. Itried before but I wasn't sure if it was doing anything different.

My setup so far is:

4gb patch.

JGSME

Running Win7

Nvidia card. (Not sure which type?)

Here are the Manos files. Which would you recommend?

M.E.P v5 - VisualSensors for WAC v5.2

M.E.P v5 - VisualSensors for WAC5

M.E.P v6 - VisualSensors for WAC v5.2

M.E.P v6 - VisualSensors for WAC5

ManosEnvironmentPro v1.1

ManosEnvironmentPro v2.1

ManosEnvironmentPro v3 +FIX pack+Sensors

ManosEnvironmentPro v4.2

ManosEnvironmentPro v5

ManosEnvironmentPro v5 with GREEN Water

ManosEnvironmentPro v6

Update M.E.P v4.2 to v4.3

Thankyou!
