People often forget to secure from silent running during a cruise...torpedoes aren't loaded when running silent.
P.S.: I always play with realistic reloads, meaning a torpedo will be reloaded in 8 minutes at 100% efficiency and only one tube can be loaded simultaneously. I like it, makes me think differently about tactical situations. Kind regards, Eichenlaub
