Weather update - regular weather changes

All other trys with supermods or different simact result in:

Barely one weather change in 3 or 4 or 5 days.

Always the wettderbericht shows exact the same for days and then one change if you are lucky.

And not to forget the always start with wind 4 richtung 0

Thats playing with a a bug.

No, I now everyone got used to it since the 14_b with the stocksimact has this behavior..


Now, as I said few times

It's a different world with fixed time trigger for weather and if I hadn't succeed to fix.(thx to genious stiebler)

I wounld not play a game with bugging weather.


How realistic is it to not have the slightest weather nor windchange for days

I can't even imagine me to play hitting the weather button
All ways getting same massage..
To not forget to mention the horrible monotony at bridge view
That is all passe now in my version

On my way to an 47 patrol area I had 32 weather changes( not counted the winddirection)


That means 32 times different bridge view. In about 30 hours!?

Now I arrived it's rain calm and fog. Wind direction changes slightly all the time.

Periscope deapth. It's too dangerous for surface.

Soon the weather will change I guess.

How long you play to get this?

Weather works fine. Sometimes it changes a lot, sometimes it doesn't. Like real life. Like I said, it gives me much more weather like I expect the North Atlantic to be; windy, stormy, etc. any time of the year (which is what skippers actually experienced, including "storms for days", even weeks) vs. the smooth as glass at times affect the other .act files do at times.


I also don't like how they force a change after a few days max. of bad weather. To me, for the North Atlantic, THAT is unrealistic.



Weather isn't stuck at all. I know different people get different results with the stock .act file; maybe ours are.

I'm pretty sure, when you copy the stiebler simactfile 2016 in stock 1_4b.

The weather is fixed on every system that can run sh3

It changes the weather. Like I said though, I don't care for the changes it does; to nice of weather, cutting storms short, etc.


My comment about the .act file acting differently for different people was referring to the stock file.

Do you have winddirection change, or just once the weather changes the winddegree changes once with it.

As I said before, the simact 2016 makes the winddegree work.
That's a main reason to use it

No cut it goes: 7 6- 4 6 8 9 10 12 and so on...
Not 0 15 015 or similar

Only on time warp maybe that

The wind direction changes, never paid attention to how often. Doesn't really matter to me, as long as it changes now and then.

Yes, I doesn't really matter, but it has to work.

Now I do it often just to check.


At patrol start. I check it.
Hit weatherbutton
Wait 3 or 4 min.


Then hit weather button again

And I get same wind but different direction.

Thats a working weather.

If after 5 min no change it's bug.

it works only with stock.
