Yes the 4 Gb patch is MANDATORY for those mega mods
 Anyway it will not reduce the loading time unfortunately...WAC has the longest loading times of all mega mods i tried (around 8 minutes on my rig) It’s worth the waiting, because it’s beautiful mod...if it doesn’t CTD...sometimes.

4gb patch is installed, SH3 is in D:/Steam/steamapps/common/Silent Hunter 3,
These are the mods I installed, Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157 [D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Silent Hunter 3\MODS] WarAceCampaign 5.01 WAC5.2 WideScreensGUI 1920x1080 Ahnenerbe For specs I have Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3401 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s), 16gb of RAM and GTX 1060. |

I have the same problem, I can play training missions but when I try sigle missions or carrer the game crashes
