Glad to see he didn't throw up all of the place, I would give him credit for not spilling his stomach contents that would have been very embarrassing.

Funny, this is not the first video I've seen of someone passing out on a ride with the blue angels

Quite a few Navy squadrons allow enlisted people to become "backseat qualified". You have to do the survival-at-sea training stuff (swimming lessons, hop in the pool with full flight gear and stay afloat) simulated "ejections", sometimes several rides on the centrifuge, some simulator time, become qualified to run the engines on-deck (what is known as "turn qual'd") for maintenance purposes. After that, it's just a matter of working you into the schedule.

And, of course, all the pilots do some yanking and banking for a "puke check". I always hated that, but that's just part of their little game. Some people expect the full rollercoaster ride, and other's don't really care for it. I mostly just enjoyed trying to keep track of everything; in modern dog-fights and ground attack runs, the radar information alone is helaciously complex.

Like Jeremy Clarkson did in the F-15 in 'Extreme Machines', did you see that programme? He was weak as a kitten when he got out of that plane.

I should have worn a pressure suit before watching that video. My stomach's on spin.

I once stupidly agreed to let my husband put me in a hellicopter ride over Niagara Falls. At some point the pilot made a sharp turn and my window was close to facing the ground.

That was 3-4 years ago. I'm still not fully recovered.

Guess you're definitely not signing up for the IAF any time soon then, Avon?

If that stands for "It's Above my Forehead", then you're absolutely right!
