Pre-radar/Post-Radar......

I just assume they can see me on radar and act with due diligence and caution, rather than brazenly charge ahead.
Radar from the 1940s was remarkably sophisticated, so keep that in mind when tangling with ships that are so equipped.
I use the snorkel system extensively and on many occasions, too numerous to mention, it has saved my boat.
It has also gotten me killed, for the reason of complacency in my previous post, so I've learned a bitter lesson...
