No, I simply have only used them at most two or three times, thus not finding out first hand the hard limit. I shall make a note if/when this occurs. Or, I suppose I could do a dump when coming back to base after a patrol when they were not used.

Yes, I wish there were some indicator for their amount. Judging by my use, I'd say it's around 8-10.
Maybe I'll dig around the game files and see if it's listed somewhere.
