Don't know about original: SH1 Dos/1996.
In SH2 and Destroyer Command the scenarios are defined in the scenario definition file .sdf . They could be built in an editor or the entire scenario including groups, convoys etc could be built from scratch using a simple txt editor. SH2 & DC :are Scripted missions and linear campaigns. However, these have random/dynamic elements that can keep things interesting. Neat thing is: you can design your own and only limited by your imagination. I remember building a .sdf for DC involving an early morning attack of US PT boats on a disabledJapanese cruiser-I had as much fun designing as playing it. Vox
