Oh yes! Boris the leader of the nation! lmao!! Why should England's prime minister care for the rest of the UK like Scotland, Ireland or Wales? These underlings are truly not worth thinking About (or so Mr Rees-Mogg would describe it).

In this we can agree, this has been official politics since the stone age. One could argue that such behaviour should not be necessary today but hey we know what makes humans tick.

He's a genius in so many things i have lost count. Maybe he will lower sanctions for China when the latter support accusing Biden for him? "The art of the deal" or what was the title of the book he did not even write himself?

But back to the first post of Mapuc. What exactly do you mean with

"You are subject to EU rules - whether you like it or not"
And then you or your friend are claiming that you cannot have a free discussion because of the EU? Where and what?

The meaning of this thread was to ask you if this friends friend was correct when she wrote this as an answer to my comment.

I said to our fellow friends a free Danish debatforum would perhaps be a better choice than FB, who keeps on jailing Danish member even though they haven't been breaking any law of free expression according to Danish law.

In other word she means there is no such things a free speech anymore-Not in a Country who's member of the EU.

hmm i'm not sure. If someone is breaking the rules in Facebook it is FB's Right to stop it, just like in this forum, or any other. There is no free speech even here, though Neal and the moderators are very forgiving imho.
If someone insults other persons or proposes to harm them.. i do not know which special case you or your friend's friend thought of, or refer to.

There was a lot of hubbub about the EU wanting to 'punish' or 'ban' anyone who says something against the EU. This is not true. But if someone agitates and proposes to kill some EU or danish politician for his/her opinion, there has to be a clear cut, and rightly so.
I know that the level of public discussion has deteriorated in the last years, with some politicians serving as shining examples to follow them, with some (new) media echoing them. I would try not to follow them.

Insulting another person shall never be allowed and a yellow card for such an action is ok.

We have almost free writing in this forum-We are not allowed to use certain words and we are not allowed to insult another member, but beside that we can discuss almost everything.(Not funny things grown-ups do in their bedroom)

Throughout the years I have seen members starting thread they meant was interesting to be discussed. Well we all have.

And not to forget - We have an ability to derail threads.

Eh, Well yeah I doubt toffy nosed Boris cares that much for the underlings no, but neither does Farage, Swinson Sturgeon or Corbyn. They all care about their own political ideologies & power first. Sure, they all 'believe' they are doing 'good' in their own way.... but then so did Hitler.

Wales & N.I mostly Voted leave, Scotland was a landslide for remain, but Remain still lost so i'm not sure where you are going with this - Boris 'says' he will take the UK out the EU, which it appears is what a slim majority of the country wants. I understand you don't like it, and you are deeply opposed to that. but we must try to keep it in perspective.
