That is some out-frikken-standing work!
Your weathering isn't hiding anything, it makes the subject look like it belongs in its genre. Not too heavy (depending on the subject) and not too light.

Amazing! Seriously, the Spitfire looks better than the ones from "Dunkirk" - not sure if they were CG or real, but yours has some nice weathering added.

Thanks for the comments guys!


Got another Tamiya Spitfire ticked off the list last weekend, this time the old Mk.Vb. I used the Montex Polish Spitfire mask set for the markings on this, otherwise built straight from the box. Hard to believe Tamiya released this kit 24 years ago! Still one of the best around.
