SH5 players, Introduce yourself: roll call II

Well G'Day everyone and thank you for having me on this site.
Now NO i am not a Pc guru I am a Paramedic and as such I love my sim games, so if it is an aircraft sim, driving sim, Train sim, or in this case sub sim, all of my games are on steam and yes before you all jump up and down on me.
I have read lots about how to install some of the mods.
But no where can I see where it tells me if the mod is steam compatible? so I would love to install some, but most of them say Not Steam usable. I did try and Install the TWOS but it did not work and had to uninstall the game back to steam.
Question
what version is the steam game does anyone know??
is TWOS Steam compatible??

Yes.

There are many STEAM players who have successfully installed TWoS,in theory there is no reason why you could not become one as well.
Very important that all parts of the installation are carefully understood.

My name is Antonio.

I'm 54 years old. I come from Spain. I love all pc simulators: il2 sturmovick, project cars etc...but this is my first sub simulator. I 've no very much connaisance of SH5...such you can check i do not speak English either, but i promise i'll try it!
