Hi, thanks for the info, I tried the first one, call settings, but there is no "clear sound" only a list of sounds to choose from. I then tried removing the battery and it worked!!!
 I don't want to try updating, I did that on my phone and ended up with Lollypop, had to root the phone and install Kitkat again.  Again, Many Thanks!
